Mukund D Mishra, born on 22 August 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Bihar cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Under Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner, and Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, held from 1 December 1999 to 31 August 2002. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administrative framework of Bihar and the Department of Higher Education.
