Mukul Kumar Saikia, born on January 3, 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, serving in the Assam Meghalaya cadre. He holds a Master of Arts degree in History. Currently, he is the Secretary at Assam's Information Department, a position he has held since February 2, 2026. Prior to this role, he served as Principal Secretary. Mukul Kumar Saikia continues to be an active member of the Indian Administrative Service.
