Mukesh Puri, born on 26 January 1964, is a retired IAS officer from the 1988 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, a postgraduate degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, and a postgraduate degree in International Political Economy from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Development Officer, District Collector, Additional Secretary, Director, Special Commissioner, Managing Director, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Vice Chairman & Managing Director.
