Mukesh Kumar Mesharam, born on 26 June 1967, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Arch. from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, an M.Arch. from IIT, and a postgraduate degree in Landscaping. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department, Uttar Pradesh, since 18 September 2025. His extensive career includes roles such as Joint Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Mission Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Vice Chairman, Director, Special Secretary, and Chief Development Officer. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
