Mukesh Kumar, born on 28 February 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, assigned to the Jharkhand cadre. He holds a B.A. from Patna University and an M.A. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of the Tourism, Art Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department in Jharkhand. Fluent in Hindi, Mukesh Kumar continues to contribute to the administrative framework of the state.
