Mukesh Kumar, born on 28 February 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Jharkhand cadre. He holds a B.A. from Patna University and an M.A. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Tourism, Art Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Jharkhand. His previous roles include Secretary, Director, Tribal Welfare Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Project Director, and Officiating Secretary. Fluent in Hindi, Mukesh Kumar continues to contribute to the administration of Jharkhand.
