Mudavatu M Nayak, born on 25 July 1971, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. degree from Andhra University, Vishakapatnam. Currently serving as Secretary to Government in the Social Welfare department since 22 January 2025, Nayak has held various positions including Special Commissioner, Chairman & Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Project Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi. Nayak continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Andhra Pradesh.
