Mridula Sinha, born on 16 August 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, Jharkhand cadre. She holds a Diploma in Social Sciences and a Graduate degree in English. Over her career, she served in various capacities including Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, Director, Secretary, State Project Director, Examination Controller, Vice Chairperson, Deputy Director, Joint Secretary, Under Secretary, and Sub-Divisional Officer. Her most recent designation was Director General, effective from 17 April 2017. Throughout her tenure, she contributed to multiple departments within the Indian Administrative Service.
