Mohammed Y Safirulla K, born on 13 November 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 Kerala cadre batch. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance, a B.E. from PSG College of Technology, and completed PPM at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, he serves as Director at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, New Delhi, since August 2025. His prior roles include District Collector and Magistrate, Special Secretary to Government, and Managing Director. He has received several awards, including the State Award for Best District Collector (2017-18) and the P Keshavadev Special Award (2019). He is proficient in English and Urdu.
