Mohammad A Farooqi, born on 15 July 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Modern Indian History. During his career, he served in various capacities including Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Director at the Department of Health and Family Welfare in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, from 1 May 1998 to 31 July 2002.
