Mithilesh Mishra, born on January 1, 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, Bihar cadre. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy from Allahabad University and an M.Phil in Philosophy from Delhi University. Currently, he serves as the Collector and District Magistrate of Lakhisarai, a position he assumed on September 7, 2024. Previously, he has held the position of Director. Mithilesh Mishra is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
