Mitali Sen Gavai, born on July 30, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Maharashtra cadre. She holds a graduate degree in Statistics, an M.Phil. in Economics, and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Director, Secretary, CEO, Professor, District Collector, Additional Collector, and Sub-Divisional Officer. Her most recent position was Joint Secretary at Maharashtra. Ms. Gavai’s extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the state government, reflecting a diverse and accomplished career in public service.
