Mitali Namchoom, born on April 18, 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, assigned to the AGMUT cadre. She holds a B.Com Honours degree in Commerce from Delhi University and a PG Diploma in Mass Communication from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Women and Child Development Department, NCT of Delhi, a position she assumed on January 29, 2024. Her previous roles include Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Special Secretary, and Deputy Collector. She is proficient in English and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
