Minhaj Alam, born on April 14, 1972, is a 1996 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Kerala cadre. He holds a B.E. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Forest and Wildlife Department of Kerala since March 12, 2025. Throughout his career, Minhaj Alam has held various positions including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Collector. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
