Minga Sherpa, born on 12 July 1993, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2017 batch, AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.A. in History (Hons) from Delhi University and two M.A. degrees in International Relations and Public Management & Governance from JNU, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as Deputy Commissioner at J&K since 23 February 2026. His previous roles include Deputy Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner Cum District Magistrate, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Secretary, and IAS Probationer. He received the First Rank in Financial Inclusion & Skill Development under the Aspirational Districts Program, 2024, awarded by the GOC-in
