Minga Sherpa, born on July 12, 1993, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2017 batch, assigned to the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.A. in History (Hons) from Delhi University and two M.A. degrees in International Relations and Public Management & Governance from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Commissioner at Jammu & Kashmir since February 23, 2026. His previous experience includes serving as Deputy Commissioner in the Udhampur department. Minga Sherpa continues to be in active service within the Indian Administrative Service.
