Meenakshi Rajagopal, an IAS officer of the 1984 Tamil Nadu cadre, was born on March 28, 1961. She holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Sub Collector, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Joint Commissioner, General Manager, Additional Director, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Director, Special Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, and Additional Secretary. Her most recent role was Principal Secretary and Commissioner of the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) from September 29, 2009, to March 31, 2021. She is now retired from the Indian Administrative Service.
