Md. Zubair Ali Hashmi, born on February 3, 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 batch, Tripura cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Bundelkhand University and an M.A. in Public Policy from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, he serves as Director at NITI Aayog, New Delhi, a position he assumed on March 13, 2023, with a tenure until March 12, 2028. His previous roles include Secretary, Director, Additional Secretary to the Government, Managing Director, Special Secretary in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
