Md. Musharraf Ali Faruqui, born on 30 July 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2014 batch, serving in the Telangana cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Electronics from Osmania University and an M.Tech. in Microelectronics and VLSI from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Currently, he is the Chairman and Managing Director of Third Discom (New), a position he has held since 26 February 2026. He has previously served as Chairman and Managing Director. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Urdu. Md. Faruqui continues to serve in his administrative capacity.
