Manoj Pant, born on June 30, 1965, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.Sc. degree and has served as Chief Secretary. His most recent designation was Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of West Bengal, beginning January 1, 2026. Fluent in Bengali, English, and Hindi, Pant has had a distinguished career in the Indian Administrative Service.
