Manoj Pant, born on 30 June 1965, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.Sc. degree and has served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Managing Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Chief Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of West Bengal, commencing on 1 January 2026. Throughout his career, he has also held roles such as Officer on Special Duty, Adviser to Executive Director, and Private Secretary. He is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi.
