Manoj Kumar, born on August 8, 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Tripura cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and M.Tech. from IIT Kanpur. Currently serving as the State Election Commissioner of Tripura since November 16, 2025, Kumar has held various positions including Special Chief Resident Commissioner, Chief Secretary to Government, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to Government, Commissioner & Secretary, Joint Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, among others. He is proficient in English, Hindi, Oriya, and Sanskrit. Kumar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
