Mannan Akhtar, born on 27 February 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree from Gauhati Medical College & Hospital. Currently, he serves as Commissioner at NEW DELHI in the LD, DDA department. His previous roles include Special Secretary, Collector and District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, and Assistant Collector/SDM. Mannan has received the Swaccha City Award for Orai, the National Water Awards 2018, and Swaccha City Awards for Nadigaon as the 3rd cleanest city in the North zone (below 1 lakh population). He is proficient in English and Hindi.
