During his career, he served in various capacities including Principal, Professor, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Higher Education and Languages Department, Punjab, from 1 October 2003 to 31 December 2003.
