Manmohan Singh, born on October 2, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Veterinary Science and a Certificate in French. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Special Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Vice Chancellor, Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Collector, District Development Officer, Project Officer, Vice Chairperson, Sub Collector, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Fisheries Department, effective from September 30, 2017.
