Manish Jain, born on March 25, 1970, is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Forest Department of West Bengal. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, Deputy Chairman, Executive Director, State Project Director, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Under Secretary, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Magistrate. Proficient in English and Hindi, Manish Jain continues to contribute to the administrative services in his current role.
