Manish Gupta, born on 21 July 1967, is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management. Currently, he serves as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh since 13 September 2024. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Additional Chief Secretary, Vice Chairman (Additional Secretary equivalent), Principal Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, and Deputy Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
