Manish Bhardwaj, born on 08/12/1972, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1997 Gujarat cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Optoelectronics from IIT Delhi and a B.E. in Electronics & Communication. Currently serving as Secretary at the National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs since 26/08/2025, he has held various positions including Assistant Collector, District Collector, Municipal Commissioner, and Principal Secretary to Government. His awards include the Kalam Innovation in Governance Award 2019 and multiple SKOCH Awards. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati and continues to serve in the IAS.
