Mandeep Singh, born on 19 May 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Punjab cadre. He holds degrees in English and Law (LL.B.). Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Special Secretary, Director, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Additional Director. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions from 31 October 2013 to 31 May 2015. Singh’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the government until his retirement.
