Manazir Jeelani Samoon, born on November 8, 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds an MBBS degree and is currently serving as Director in the Agriculture Department of Andhra Pradesh since October 8, 2025. His previous roles include Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Commissioner, and Managing Director. Mr. Samoon has received several awards, including the Best Electoral Practices Award 2018, recognition for excellent performance under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme by the Government of India, and commendations for awareness generation and outreach activities under the same scheme.
