Manasi Sahay Thakur, born on October 10, 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Himachal Pradesh cadre. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Pune University and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, New Delhi, since January 1, 2026. Her past roles include Director, Settlement Officer, Additional Registrar, Assistant Commissioner & BDO, Managing Director, Labour Commissioner & Director, and Commissioner Cum Director. She is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
