Mahesh Shantilal Jani, born on June 1, 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2019 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds an MBA in Finance and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry. Currently, he serves as the Regional Commissioner of Municipalities at Rajkot, a position he assumed on June 10, 2024. His previous roles include Deputy Municipal Commissioner and Municipal Commissioner. Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi, Mahesh Jani continues to contribute to the administrative framework of Gujarat.
