Currently, he holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Member at the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) in Bengaluru, a role he assumed on June 6, 2023. Dr. Mahesh continues to serve in this capacity, contributing to the administrative functions of the state government.
