Mahendra P. Kalyankar, born on February 1, 1968, is a 2007 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds an LL.M. and a Ph.D. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Mumbai, a position he assumed on April 30, 2024. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including District Collector, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Collector & District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Junior Scale officer, and Divisional Commissioner. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the governance and administration of Maharashtra.
