Mahendra Kumar Surana, born on May 5, 1948, is a retired IAS officer from the 1988 Rajasthan cadre. He served as Secretary in the Employment Department at Jaipur, Rajasthan, from October 23, 2006, to May 31, 2008. His educational qualifications include a Graduate degree in Biology, an LL.B. in Law, and an M.B.A. in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he held various positions such as Director, Commissioner, Settlement Commissioner & E/O, District Collector and District Magistrate, OSD to Minister, Additional Commissioner, and Managing Director.
