Mahender Singh Tawar, born on March 6, 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2015 batch, serving in the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and has previously held the position of Assistant Secretary. Currently, he is the District Magistrate and Collector at Kushinagar, a role he assumed on April 21, 2025. Mr. Tawar continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
