Mahavir Singh, born on July 5, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Rajasthan cadre. He holds an LL.B. in Law and a postgraduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Secretary, District Collector and District Magistrate, Special Officer, and Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner at Jaipur, Rajasthan, from September 16, 2008, to July 31, 2011, in the Local Bodies Department. Singh's extensive administrative experience spans multiple key roles within the Rajasthan state government.
