Maha Prasad Jha, born on July 5, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch, Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree and served in the Department of Water Resources. During his career, he held the position of Secretary at the Junior Scale level. His most recent designation was Director in the Department of Water Resources, from June 1, 1999, to July 31, 2000.
