Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Financial Commissioner/Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Industrial Liaison Commissioner, Resident Commissioner, Counsellor, Director, Deputy Secretary, Administrator, Deputy Commissioner, Registrar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Secretary of the Urban Development Department from 31 January 2015 to 31 March 2016.
