Madhup Vyas, a 2000 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, was born on October 9, 1974. He holds an M.Phil. in National Security from Madras University, a B.A. in Political Science, and an LL.B. from Delhi University. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director at the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), New Delhi, since September 14, 2025. His past roles include Deputy Election Commissioner, Chief Electoral Officer & Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Private Secretary, Additional Director, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
