Madan Lal Meena, born on 14 March 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in the Ministry of Rural Development, specifically in the Council for Advancement of People's Action and Technology. His most recent position was Director General from 6 May 2015 to 31 March 2017. Mr. Meena holds a graduate degree in Geography and a postgraduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he held various roles including Deputy Director General, Joint Secretary, Chairman, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Registrar, District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, and Additional District Magistrate.
