M Veerashanmugha Moni, born on June 9, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 Tamil Nadu cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Additional Director, Special Officer, and Secretary. His most recent role was Commissioner of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, a position he held from March 8, 2015. Throughout his career, he contributed to multiple departments within the Tamil Nadu government, culminating in his leadership as Commissioner before retirement.
