Dr. M V Venkatesh, born on 19 February 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 Karnataka cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. from Bangalore University and an M.D. from RGUHS, Bangalore Medical College. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Karnataka, since 4 January 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary to Government, Director, Chief Executive Officer, Senior Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner. Dr. Venkatesh is proficient in English and Kannada and continues to serve in the IAS.
