M T Chavan, born on December 1, 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 batch, Maharashtra cadre. A graduate by education, he has served in various capacities throughout his career. His most recent position was Additional Commissioner at Pune, Maharashtra. Prior to this, he held roles including Director and Managing Director. Throughout his tenure in the IAS, Chavan contributed to the administration of Maharashtra state.
