M S Ravishankar, born on 23 March 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Karnataka cadre. A graduate by education, he has held numerous key positions throughout his career, including Secretary, Chairman, Regional Commissioner, Commissioner, Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Joint Commissioner, Deputy Election Commissioner, and Deputy Secretary. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited from 2 January 2026. His extensive administrative experience spans various roles within the Karnataka government.
