M S Pathan, born on 24 February 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Commissioner, and Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary at Gujarat’s General Administration Department from 1 April 2001 to 28 February 2002.
