M S Kalshetti, born on 15 August 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and B.Ed. in Mathematical Sciences from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Throughout his career, he served as District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, and Junior Scale officer. He was appointed Municipal Commissioner of Maharashtra on 28 February 2019 in the Urban Development department. Kalshetti received the Excellent Collector Awards for 2016-17 and 2017-18, as well as the Excellent Officer Award in 2006.
