M.R.M. Rao, born on April 12, 1965, is a 2007 batch IAS officer from the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Agriculture. Currently serving as Secretary to H.E. the Governor at Goa since November 30, 2022, Rao has held various positions including Collector & District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, and Secretary within the Government of Goa. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration under the Government of Goa.
