M P Sinha, born on July 10, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Bihar cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Divisional Commissioner (April 1999 to July 2002), Joint Secretary, Inspector General, Special Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, and Junior Scale. His most recent role was Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. Mr. Sinha’s extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Bihar cadre.
