M P Pinto, born on 27 May 1943, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1966 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Political Science and a postgraduate degree in Sociology. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Chairman, Director General, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Minister, Vice Chairman, Additional Development Commissioner, Joint Development Commissioner, CEO, Deputy CEO, and Assistant Collector. His most recent designation was Secretary at Maharashtra in the Department of Shipping and Waterways. Mr. Pinto has served with distinction across multiple administrative roles within the Maharashtra cadre.
