M P Parekh, born on June 10, 1932, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1960 Gujarat cadre. A graduate in Economics, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Managing Director, and Additional Chief Secretary. He also held roles such as Secretary, Commissioner, OSD to Minister, District Development Officer, and Deputy Development Commissioner. His most recent position was Director General at Gujarat in the Labour and Employment department from August 1, 1988, to June 1, 1990.
