M Nagarajan, born on 11 June 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Gujarat cadre. He currently serves as the Municipal Commissioner at Surat Municipal Corporation, Gujarat, a position he has held since 22 January 2026. His educational qualifications include a PG Diploma in Computer Application from Annamalai University, an M.A. in Economics from Madras University, and Chartered Accountant certification from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. Throughout his career, he has held various roles such as Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Collector, Director, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, District Development Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English, Tamil, and Gujarati.
