M N Gunavardhanam, born on 15 April 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 Kerala cadre. He held various key positions including Director, Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, District Collector, and Secretary. His most recent role was Secretary of the Water Resources Department from 10 October 2008 to 30 April 2010. He holds a Diploma in Management, an LL.B. in Law, and a postgraduate degree in English Literature. Throughout his career, he contributed to multiple departments and administrative functions within the Kerala cadre.
